 +Autonomie is a vehicle simulation software package developed by Argonne National Laboratory to aid in the development of advanced vehicles. Automomie is a graphical user interface (GUI) that operates over MathWork's MATLAB Simulink computation engine. A previous version of Autonomie, introduced in 1999 and called the Powertrain System Analysis Toolkit (PSAT), was widely used in the automotive industry and academic research laboratories. A partnership between General Motors and Argonne was initiated in 2007 to enhance PSAT's advanced powertrain simulation capabilities, the result of which was Autonomie.
